Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot demo was shown off at this year's Gamescom and we now have a glimpse of what the final product will look like. We saw an intense battle between Gohan (in his Super Saiyan 2 form) and Cell as well as a couple of their special attacks.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot appears to be much slower than its predecessors, but its sheer complexity will surely keep us occupied for a while. The UI display now shows the control mechanism as a hint and we also have an aim assist in every fight.

Both characters have an amazing range of different abilities. For instance, Gohan can use Dragon Hammer Fist, Guided Masenko, Rapid Fire Ki Wave (my favorite), and the legendary Kamehameha Wave. On the other hand, Cell can duplicate himself, use his powerful Special Beam Cannon to obliterate his foes, and even deliver his own version of Kamehameha. Quite neat indeed.

The three sagas that will definitely be a part of the game are the Saiyan saga, Frieza saga, and Cell Saga, though it's very likely that we will see other Dragon Ball Z sagas as well.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in 2020. You can see the demo in action here:
