As it was announced on the official twitter account of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be released on September 3 and it will be available on all platforms.
The remaster was initially unveiled at E3 2019 and it will add some major gameplay improvements. For instance, there won't be any encounter modes this time and we'll get a massive battle upgrade in the form of 3x Speed Boost. Of course, the graphics are slightly improved as well although the visual identity is still identical to what we can see in the original game. That's certainly great for all people who feel nostalgic for this all-time classic!
