Tim Longo, Halo Infinite's creative director, has left 343 Industries. Fans shouldn't worry, however, as the game still has the same release schedule and it will come out next Christmas, alongside Project Scarlett.

Microsoft issued a statement following Longo's decision and here's what they had to say: "We are truly thankful for [Tim Longo's] many contributions to our games, our studio and the Halo universe. We wish Tim nothing but the best in his future endeavors".

In the meantime, Chris Lee, the studio head of 343 Industries and Halo 5's executive director will be in charge of the team's "overall creative vision and production". And yes, Halo Infinite is still on track for its holiday 2020 release.
