GTA Online is smashing one record after another with its Diamond Casino update

Grand Theft Auto Online is still doing damn amazing, and in fact, the game has never been in better shape! A record number of players logged on to play the online version of Grand Theft Auto V now that the Diamond Casino update went live, and that's just a showcase that people at Rockstar know what they're doing!


Grand Theft Auto V shipped more than 100 million units worldwide, and if we take into account that GTA online was pulling in roughly 8 million players a week back in November 2015 already...we can conclude that the player count is surely superb (despite not knowing the exact number).


The latest update appears to be really popular already. The update launched on July 23 and it allows players to gamble and participate in many casino all-time favorites like poker, roulette, and blackjack. Even the (sad) fact that some players (in North Korea and China) can't access the new content couldn't stop the update from achieving impressive success already.
