As we already wrote recently, a recent QuakeCon was particularly exciting (and surprising) as the original three Doom titles were just re-released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. As it turned out, however, in order to play these games, you'll need a Bethesda.net account.
The original two games required only one login before players could access the full game, but Doom 3 required you to log in every time you play the game to access its content.
Bethesda responded on the matter and they've stated that this is only a temporary issue and that a fix is coming soon - "The BethesdaNet login requirement was included for the Slayers Club, to reward members for playing the classic Doom games,' Bethesda explained. 'The login should be optional, and we are working on changing the requirement to optional now. We will update everyone when a fix is ready".
