As it has been confirmed on the official website of the game, the sequel to Gears of War 4 will be an exclusive "player-first experience", and even more importantly, it won't have a season pass + all DLC maps will be free of charge. What more can we ask for?
Microtransactions do exist, but players will always know what they are buying (as it was reported). The studio head, Rod Ferguson also added: "the only random kind of chance you have is that there's a type of content that we essentially give to the player for free just for playing". That's really awesome!
