We knew that Super Mario Bros. is extremely popular even after all these years...but damn! A sealed copy of this ultimate classic has been sold for a staggering amount of $100,150! That's beyond impressive! We will hardly see another video game breaking this record any time soon.
It's not surprising at all as sealed copies have added value and this was one of the earliest copies available on the US market. But it just gets to show how iconic this game really is even now in 2019.
Time to eat some mushrooms again, guys and gals!
