According to Deadline, we might get a Resident Evil TV show and, yes, apparently, Netflix is working on it. Can this Resident Evil hype get any bigger?
According to the same source, Constantin Film, a company that already produced Resident Evil movies, will be in charge of this project. At the moment, the team is looking for a showrunner.
We don't really have any info about the plot but, apparently, it will have something to do with the vile Umbrella Corporation. If everything turns out true, we hope to see many iconic trademarks in the show as well as some amusing easter eggs. Yeah, and let's hope that it will be better than the actual movies.
In the meantime, feel free to give Resident Evil 2 a try, it's really good.
