A notable Swedish retailer has posted a listing for a Switch version of Metroid Prime, so there are suspicions already that the acclaimed trilogy is in the pipeline for Nintendo Switch.

It was already released on both Wii and Wii U and it included three games - Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes were initially released on Game Cube while Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is primarily a Wii exclusive.

Take all of this with a grain of salt, though, as everything is still just a rumor. However, we might get more on The Game Awards.

While nothing is confirmed, it fits perfectly. Metroid Prime 4 is currently being developed for Ninty's powerhouse, so this is a great way for everyone to relive their favorite memories. Or, well, to play them for the first time if they haven't done so already.

In any case, we are looking forward to a confirmation (fingers are crossed)!
