As Ubi just announced, the devs have wrapped the development of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. In other words, the game has officially gone gold.
What does this mean for the average gamer? Well, it means that you won't have to wait too long to get your hands on this epic Greek-inspired-and-templar-killing blockbuster. At the same time, you should see no delays either.
The game will continue where Origins left off, but we will see a much bigger focus on the RPG elements that were recently introduced. We will also have two playable characters (Kassandra and Alexios) and even some options for romance and dialogues (think of Mass Effect...that kind of thing). After the game is launched, we will get some new story missions and even a remastered Assassin's Creed III.
As Ubi said: "Your Oddysey starts on October 5". Hold your seat tight and prepare to spill some blood!
