Pillars of Eternity 2 Beast of Winter DLC is coming next month
And we will get two expansions after that one as well.
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire's first DLC is set to come as early as August already. Namely, Obsidian have announced that we will feel the chills of winter on August 2. So, that's less than one month.
Other than bringing the nasty chills, Beast of Winter will also bring a more nautical gameplay. You will be able to explore the Deadfire Archipelago's southernmost region - an island in the middle of nowhere that is inhabited by a bunch of crazy cultists. Doesn't sound that fun now, does it?
The DLC will come out at the same time as the update 2.0 and the Deck of Many Things narrative-heavy campaign. The good news is that you can get all of those goodies for free!
The update itself will fix plenty of issues and it will add some improvements to the core game. We will also get challenge modes that will put the players' abilities to the ultimate test. At the same time, Deck of Many Things will have a very interesting plot that is definitely worth checking out.
