Even though EA Motive has taken over the steering wheel over the new Star Wars game, that doesn't mean that the project will head into a completely different direction. Namely, the characters that were created by Amy Hennig and her co-workers could still end up in the final product.

Jade Raymond gave an interview for Game Informer and she revealed that there is a bunch of great visual assets that were created by Amy Hennig and some (if not all) of them are well underway to make it to the live game.

Here's what the lady said: "We have three terabytes of Star Wars artwork, which is crazy, and there is a lot of really good work there,' she said. 'When we announced we were moving the game, the idea was pivoting more into player agency but still keeping a lot of the stuff that was great about it. There was a lot of really cool stuff like tons of assets and really cool characters that had been created. So, there's the goal of making sure we use all that". Truly fascinating stuff!

Star Wars was initially announced as a very "narrative-heavy" title but, as Visceral is no longer in charge of the project (due to its closure), it will now have a strong focus on the open-world design instead. Let's hope that the game will be worth playing!
