Rocket League still enjoys massive popularity even three years after its initial release. But, if you were hoping for a sequel, you're out of luck. Scott Rudi gave an interview for GameSpot and he said that he "doesn't know' what he'd do with a potential Rocket League 2". He also added that he would rather support the existing version of the game instead.

"That's preferable to do; games-as-a-service. The most valuable thing in our game is our fans. A lot of the stuff we do is focused on keeping them with us. Keeping them interested and all hyped up about our game. We want to provide a really good experience [for players] to have fun with for years to come".

Still, even though we are not likely to see the sequel coming out any time soon, we can still have a blast with the original Rocket League, right? RIGHT?
