Nintendo has just announced a new live patch for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which gives the game support for Nintendo Labo. While from the announcement video it appears to be fairly basic support, just letting you use the Motorcycle kit to control your character, it’s still new. Not only does it offer more reason to get the Labo kits back out of the closet, but it shows Nintendo’s interest in supporting the cardboard platform even outside of its little sandbox.
