What was long speculated has now been officially confirmed. Team Ninja has announced that we are definitely going to see a sequel to the original Nioh. So, if you like to die in a true Dark Souls-like fashion, you will surely enjoy Nioh 2 whenever it comes out.
We don't have a lot of info right now but we do have quite a blast of an announcement trailer. It's both epic and scary at the same time. The way they are saying "defy death...death defies you" is really spooky, I can't deny it.
