The Wolf Among Us Season 2 will be coming out in 2019
Sadly, we won't get to see it this year.
Even though we were hopeful that we will get to see the sequel this year, Telltale Games have announced that The Wolf Among Us Season 2 is definitely not coming out this year. The release date has been pushed for 2019. Well, that's a bummer!
As Telltale published on their own website, there are some fundamental changes that need to be addressed before the game can finally see the light of the day. As the company commented: "Taking this extra time will allow us not only to focus on quality but also to experiment and iterate in order to craft something truly special".
If you can remember, back in November, the company announced that they were undergoing a restructuring process and 25% of the workers were laid off. Back then, however, they stated that this would not have an impact on the release of this sequel. But, obviously, it's something that was bound to happen.
We will be waiting for the second season just as anxiously in any case. You may want to replay Season 1 while waiting though.
