Overwatch on Switch? It's still a possibility
Blizzard doesn't want to rule out anything just yet.
I believe that there is no Switch player (or, well, not a lot of them) that wouldn't like to see Blizzard's supremely popular shooter on their console as well. Even the chances appear to be slim, Blizzard stated that it could still happen at some point in the future.
Matthew Hawley gave an interview for GameSpot and he said that even though the Switch version is "one of those things they are constantly evaluating" he also added that "there are challenges in running on the platforms that we're not already on". We are not there yet obviously but we might be heading towards that direction as we speak.
"We'll see where things go. Certainly, there is a huge number of people out there who have Nintendo Switch and mobile phones, but right now, the core development team is focused on supporting the live game".
Exciting times are certainly coming and if we definitely end up getting Overwatch on this console as well...well, it will be one hell of a reason to celebrate!
