Witchwood is already live for some time (and we wrote about it here and here) but, all the fans of this immensely popular collectible card game are still waiting for the Monster Hunt mode that will allow us to access the exclusive single-player content as well.
Many people are looking forward to this but, at the same time, they want to know what they can actually expect to see there. This is what the devs said regarding that matter: "If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds & Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will feel familiar. You'll take on the role of a hero, and you'll venture deep into the Witchwood, defeating a random series of monstrous bosses. With each victory you can gear up, building a stronger and stronger deck with the treasures you find ".
There's more to these words, of course, as all the Monster Hunter classes have their own special powers that make the whole thing even more interesting. We should also add that there will be more than 45 bosses to tackle in this expansion while some of them are "beefed up versions of the collectible card" as Dave Kosak himself states it. Most of these bosses are entirely unique to this expansion so it will be a real pleasure to trash them with our just as unique decks.
