It's quite funny that in case you decide to take a break from Overwatch and if you return just one week later, chances are - you already missed a lot. There are so many new things being added each and every week that it's starting to be overwhelming....but in a good way, really.
And right now, Blizzard have surprised everyone (or, well, most of us) with the introduction of a new Competitive 6v6 Lockout Elimination Season. This will be a short event and the plan is to make it last until May 8. But expect one hell of an excitement during that time period!
This mode gives out clear objectives that are heavily geared towards Team Deathmatch action. The Lockout part is very interesting and it has a little "catch" that we have to note. Namely, everyone is free to choose whatever character they like but every character that was chosen by the winner of each round will be locked for all the other party members until the game ends. Quite an interesting addition, I have to admit. It promotes gameplay diversity and, at the same time, it prevents people from facerolling their rivals by using one single character only.
