An indie-inspired adventure game "Forgotten Anne" now finally has a release date. As Square Enix Collective announced, the game will arrive on May 15 and all the popular platforms (Xbox One, PS4 and PC) other than Switch will have the pleasure to host it.

As the co-founder of ThroughLine Games said: "It's been a genuine pleasure to watch gamers and critics alike tuck into Forgotten Anne's early builds over the last 12 months, but now's when things get really exciting". He also added the following: "We think we've created a world that both pays homage to some of the biggest anime films but also takes the art form in a different direction, giving players the chance to live out an animated adventure for real". And that sure does sound promising!

Speaking of the main plot, we will jump into the shoes of Master Bonku who suddenly gets trapped in the place called "Forgotten Realm". This strange universe is unlike anything that we've seen so far and it's full of mysteries that we (and Bonku as well) will need to look into if we are to have any hope of getting out of there.

You can expect plenty of 2D platforming action packed up with some additional puzzles to make our way back even harder. It sounds like a lot of fun to me personally and I can't wait to try it out! What about you?
