DOOM gets an official Xbox One X and PS4 Pro support
And the game just became creepier than ever!
DOOM (2016) was one hell of a success (as we all expected) and it was just a matter of time when the game will get a full 4K support for the latest consoles. Just yesterday we wrote about Resident Evil 7 getting this treatment and now DOOM is the next game that is about to showcase its horrors with even more detail.
You can download the latest patch as we speak. It doesn't come as a huge surprise really as the game was an Xbox One X enhanced title ever since the last E3. But, I definitely didn't see the PS4 Pro support coming along as well and this is a really nice surprise.
Other than the fact that this is merely a 4K patch, we don't know any other details as of yet. It's also very questionable whether we will be able to see that hot 60-FPS action again but, just a simple fact that we got this kind of update makes me want to replay the game yet again (on a different system this time).
If you're still one of those people who hasn't played DOOM, make sure to fix that as soon as possible. You won't be able to experience such an audio-visual spectacle anytime soon!
