We knew this day would come sooner or later but, anyway, it's finally here! Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is now officially playable on Xbox One. If you thought that your horror odyssey was scary enough before, you will surely have to reconsider your opinion after seeing this version!
The amount of details that we are getting with this version is truly staggering. All the texture are now available in a native 4K setting and we also have this thing called "High Dynamic Range (HDR)" that increases the visual quality tenfold. Even the skin tone is much more realistic now thanks to the "Screen-Space Subsurface Scattering". The effort that Capcom have put here is truly staggering and this is the version that has every right be called "survival horror" as you will definitely need to survive all the horrors that await you.
Resident Evil 7 was released back in 2017 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC and it's already widely recognized as a game that returned the franchise back to its good old days. It's not a perfect game but, hey, which one IS perfect? As long as we have that engrossing atmosphere around us, we are good to go. Now, excuse me, I have to, um, hunt down some monstrosities around me...
