As NIS America just announced, the colorful jRPG, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa will be released on Nintendo Switch as well and the release date is set for June 26 (for the US) and June 29 (for Europe) respectively.

As the developers stated, this will be "the definitive" version of the game. We will quickly get a proof for that as the Switch release is packed with plenty of different goodies. That includes the complete content from PS4 and PS Vita as well as a completely relocalized script. On top of that, we will also see a Day One Adventurer's Edition, a fully reversible cover, a double-sized poster and 3 different character cards.

But, and the huge BUT, the Switch players are not the only ones who are excited about this game. YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will come to PC as well and it will be out at some point next month. You can check out the official blog to keep track of all the updates that will be implemented but, you can also use this page to keep track of the game's status as well.

I don't know about you but, I am already excited to try this game out right now. In cases like these, patience really is our greatest virtue. It will pay off in the end, I can feel it.
