It's always very interesting when some hot information gets leaked ahead of time but, anyway, If these reports from Comic Book are correct, the next Assassin's Creed will take place in Greece. Yep, the very seat of (modern) culture.

According to the same source, the new Assassin's Creed has been in development ever since the beginning of 2017 and, as it stands, the game will be released next year and it will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and (of course) PC as well. If we make a brief recap, we can remember that Ubi themselves have stated even before Origins' initial release that we should expect to see Greece as a potential in-game location. at one point or another Yep, they said that it was only a matter of time before we get to see this beautiful setting live. Now, to be fair, the statement was mostly indicating that Greece would (at some point) appear in Origins but, from this standpoint, it's obviously not happening. But, seeing the latest rumors at this point....there is certainly some smoke going around but it smells exactly like fire, doesn't it?

Take all this info with a grain of salt as, until Ubi officially confirms it, it's just pure fan speculation. It could very well turn out to be true (especially if we look at all these circumstances ) but, it could really just be someone's (creative) imagination. Until we get more info on this subject, I recommend (re)playing Origins. Practice always makes perfect and you never know when you may continue your templar-hunting odyssey.
