Shadow of the Tomb Raider confirmed for September

Various speculations have been rolling for quite a while now but, we finally have an official confirmation. As Square Enix announced, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC near the end of this summer. The date has been set for September 14.

We obviously don't know everything that we can expect from Lara in this game but we do know that this particular adventure will definitely be her "defining moment" (this is something that the devs confirmed as well). This will, supposedly, also be the last chapter in the critically acclaimed reboot series and we should finally see the conclusion of the prequel storyline that will let us know how exactly she became THE Tomb Raider in the end.

There's not much information at this point and we should definitely expect to see more on April 27 (that is when we are getting a complete reveal) but, until that point, we have this little teaser below to spark our imagination

Now is definitely the time of the "Tomb Raider". We already wrote about the enhanced versions of the cult PS1 trio this Monday, now we got a release date for this game and, on top of that, we also know that the new Tomb Raider movie is alive and kicking as well. What a time to live in, huh?
