The original Neverwinter Nights was one of the first RPG gems of BioWare and if you're one of those people who never had a chance to experience it thus far....seriously, you don't know what you've been missing. But, the good news is, you will now have a good reason to fix that as the Enhanced Edition is coming to Steam on March 27.

Beamdog (the developers behind this project) confirmed the date via a live stream and they also shared some of their ideas regarding how the game will work out as well. In case you already pre-purchased the game, you will also get instant access to all the latest patches (much earlier than the folks who purchase(d) the game the traditional way). We will also see some bigger patches coming on a regular basis as well. That will happen as soon as enough smaller updates are available.

As the devs also added, they're looking forward to bringing some new content in addition to the main campaign but they still need to figure out the right algorithm to do it. On the other hand, we are certainly going to get some goodies like the updated visuals, 4K resolution support and two expansions alongside the classic version of Neverwinter Nights.

All in all, the Enhanced Edition will be a good enough reason to replay the game once again. And an even better reason to play it for the first time if you haven't done that already. You better do it or else....you will surely have some turbulent nights (not the kind of turbulent that you think though).
