Just last week we wrote about fresh plans for our favorite Bandicoot (Crash) but it seems that this precious little dragon isn't forgotten either. As Kotaku reports, Activision is working on Spyro the Dragon Trilogy remaster already and the whole thing will be (officially) announced in March. According to the same source, this remaster will be available at some point during Q3 2018 and it will (most likely) arrive to other platforms in 2019.

To be honest, I kinda saw this coming. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was a huge success and, following the legacy that was left over by the original 3 Spyro games (Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the dragon), it was just a matter of time when this cute purple dragon will get his own modern makeup as well.

I expect awesome graphics here as well as the improved sound effects. According to the reports, we may also be getting some content that wasn't included in the original games which would be really awesome! Along with that, it is stated that the PS4 Pro support is coming alongside the saving mechanism from N.Sane Trilogy. It just doesn't get better than this!

As for the official date, it is speculated that the game is coming out in September but, in reality, we don't have any confirmation for that so we should just stick to the original Q3 2018 release schedule.

March will give us the answer whether we are getting a remaster or not but, considering the fact that we have so many correlations with the N.Sane Trilogy, I think Kotaku is definitely on the right track here.
