It's not the first time and it certainly won't be the last time either but, this weekend you can play Overwatch for free! If you're one of those people who want to try this game but you're out of money (I know how hard that can be, trust me), now is the right time to do it. The gameplay will remain unaffected, the loot boxes will function the exact same way as they do normally and you will have access to a full roster of heroes as well.

To be more precise, you will be able to play up to 26 different and unique heroes and you will be able to shoot your opponents in 16 different maps as well. On top of that, there are 3 different modes to tackle as well - Quick Play, Custom Games and the Arcade mode. If you're just looking forward to having fun in a casual environment, you should definitely stick to Quick Play (at least in the beginning). Oh, yes, I mustn't forget one more thing - All the progress that you make during this free-to-play weekend will be transferred to the full game whenever you decide to pick it up. Another great way to stimulate new people to give Overwatch a try.

Now, I am aware that many people (especially the fans of Overwatch) are familiar with all of these concepts already but this info, in particular, is targeted primarily at new people who didn't play the game yet. And the same thing (obviously) can be said about this f2p weekend as well.

If you never played Overwatch before and you want to try it out, do it now! The game will be free from February 16 to February 19 so, you have almost 3 full days to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts. And, in a typical Blizz-like fashion, you know what comes next once you get hooked on one of their games...
