It's still unofficial but, according to License Source Book Europe, our favorite eastern barred bandicoot didn't say his last word on the gaming scene just yet!

This comes as no surprise as Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy received just as "N.Sane" success on the PS4. Much more people were eager to buy the remastered versions of the 3 original games than anyone ever predicted and, according to the same source, following this market success, we will see the N.Sane Trilogy on both PC and Switch at some point. Which is really stunning, especially when we consider that Crash used to be Sony's own response to Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog back at the time. But, the most important thing in this report is the fact that we will see "another game in 2019". And this is something that really sticks out!

And, if you thought that's all, it's not! Apparently, Activision is really looking forward to pushing new Crash Bandicoot games in the future and they also have a "five-year plan" for the franchise. If this turns out valid, we will see many more broken crates and many more apples eaten by our favorite bandicoot...and that's always good.

We will wait for the official confirmation and hope that License Source got it right. No matter if that potential new game would be yet another remaster or a completely new game, the fact that we could actually get a whole new Crash Bandicoot game for the first time since 2008 is absolutely amazing. I always thought it was sad to kill off the franchise that used to be one of Sony's trademarks and, if this turns out to be correct, it will surely be a big deal!

As always, we will keep you updated.
