Even from the very first bits of info that we were given, Thrones of Britannia looked like a game that will change some standards of the genre as well as a game that will be quite demanding for your system. Naturally, we also questioned ourselves - "when are we going to get this game?" We have all this info delivered to our table and let's go through every part of it step by step.


First of all, we know that Total War: Thrones of Britannia will be out on April 19 this year. Given the fact that the release date is very close, you can start pre-ordering your copies right away. The best thing about these pre-orders is the fact that for every single copy that is pre-ordered and activated on Steam before the official release date 25% of the overall income will be donated to the charity War Child UK. A really marvelous and noble approach of the developers, I really salute it! And, coming from a financial perspective, you will be able to get a 10% discount if you pre-order the game from a SEGA-approved retailer.

It's also worth mentioning that the game will also be available in a Limited Edition format and you will be able to buy this edition only from a selected pool of retailers and only in certain territories. The best thing about it is that it delivers the game boxed in the specially embossed steelbooks that are directly inspired by the actual Anglo Saxon armor of that period. Just....wow!
