Many fans of the original game, as well as the sequel, have been eagerly anticipating the third game as well. Although it did seem that The Banner Saga 3 will not come out at least until December this year, the developers have now revealed that the game will definitely hit the market this summer which wasn't expected but it certainly makes me happy!

On top of that, the team has also released a character trailer that focuses on the Vari loyalist called Fasolt. It's really too early to judge but looking at this video, this guy certainly doesn't look like someone who should be messed with! You can watch the video right here:

The Banner Saga 3 had a very successful Kickstarter campaign. In fact, it exceeded many people's expectations - the initial goal was to collect $200 000 in total but the funds managed to go over $400 000 in the end and that is also one of the main reasons why I believe the game is set to come earlier than expected.

The Banner Saga 3 will be the last game in the trilogy and a final chapter of the story that is happening ever since the first Banner Saga game so, in case you missed out on these titles, you should definitely play them before checking the third one. As of right now, it is said that The Banner Saga 3 is coming to PC only but I certainly expect the game to continue the path of its predecessors and I expect to see it on both Xbox One and PS4 as well.
