NetherRealm Studios have some nice updates coming to their newest fighting game. In the latest cinematic teaser, we meet a new playable character (Enchantress) and we can see her delivering some really breathtaking moves. She also appears to be a true master of dark magic (who would know, right?). One of her abilities that caught the most interest (in my case at least) is her actual Super Move where she is able to extract souls from her rivals' bodies and then beat them up with these extractions. A truly scary, yet marvelous concept. She is able to summon demons to aid her as well and she can also freeze her enemies in blocks of ice and keep them suspended in some sort of a magical field. I can already see this gal becoming my favorite fighter in the very near future!
If you played Mortal Kombat X, you may notice that she shares some similar traits with Quan Chi. That is especially noticeable when she uses one of her strongest abilities where she puts her foes in a state of trance and then makes them stumble towards her. You can see this awesome maneuver in the cinematic teaser as well.
If you bought the Fighter Pack 3, Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Pack of Injustice 2, you will automatically get Enchantress for free as soon as she comes to the live game. If that is not the case, you can buy her starting from January 16. As the previous fighters could all be bought for $6 each, I don't believe anything will change for this one either.
We definitely look forward to trying out Enchantress and we hope that the last fighters that are set to come as a part of Fighter Pack 3 (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) will be just as awesome too.
