Ever since we got the first news on the upcoming sequel to the Darksiders franchise (back in May), we were left wondering what to expect from the final product. But, in order to cut our waiting at least a little bit, THQ Nordic have now revealed a new gameplay teaser where we can see a bit more in-game action first-hand.
If you played the previous 2 Darksiders games, you pretty much already have an idea what to expect from Darksiders 3. But, if not, all we have to say is that the third game appears to be following the footsteps of its predecessors pretty closely. Judging from what we can see in the newest teaser, we can expect yet another third-person adventure game with some pretty intensive combat. After focusing on the first two members of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, Death and War, now we get to meet the "unpredictable and enigmatic" Fury. And, yet again, from what is shown, it seems we are in for another unforgettable adventure!
This little blurb that we can find on the Darksiders' website also sounds (and looks) fun: "Earth is now overrun by the Seven Deadly Sins and the mystical creatures and degenerated beings that serve them. The Charred Council calls upon Fury to battle from the heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore the balance and prove that she is the most powerful of the Horsemen".
The new trailer shows some truly attractive hack-and-slash action inside a very sinister-looking cave known as Hollow. We are yet to see if the puzzles will match the ones from the previous games but, the action is definitely promising great fun!
