Listen up you lot there's gonna be a WAAAGH and we's going to want to know all abouts what we can throw out dere. The Ork faction is a good one for a straight up fight with lots of squads that are cheap to bring out compared to the Imperial Space Marines for instance. Ork WAAAGH is their source of power and there are numerous upgrade opportunities to tailor the Boyz to a specific situation. With three of the meanest Commander Heroes the Ork faction is a good all rounder and can handle a prolonged battle without too much trouble.

The Ork Units

Slugga Boyz

These are a tough melee squad armed with the trademark Ork Choppa and Slugga. They are cheap and plentiful, good for capturing and holding points in an early game. Their upgrades allow them to punish infantry even more.

Slugga Boys Upgrades (Wargear)

Burna: The fearsome Burna lets out jets of scorching fire. It is highly effective against units in cover, infantry and buildings.

Nob Leader: This brutal Ork boss leads his squad in battle and gives them a bonus. The Nob Leader also unlocks the Slugga's Recklessness ability allowing them to break suppression.

Shoota Boyz

These are the ranged equivalent of the Slugga's. These are the Ork squad that are excellent at providing covering fire and have an upgrade allowing them to provide suppression.

Shoota Boyz Upgrades (Wargear)

Big Shoota: A large gun that has more Dakka than the other guns with more range and damage. This unlocks the 'Aimin? Wotz Dat? Ability allowing them to suppress a targeted squad at the cost of reduced damage.

Nob Leader: A big powerful Ork that has more Orky Know Wotz than the others, he gives the squad a bonus in their ranged damage.

Stikkbommaz

If it positively has to be blown to smithereens or covered in grenades, then the Stikkbommaz are the squad for you. These Orks are extremely dangerous when used correctly and can cause widespread damage to the enemy.

Stikkbombz: A powerful grenade that's good vs. cover and effective against buildings.

Bomma Kit: This gives the Ork squad the ability to hurl Stunbombs, these are effective at disrupting enemy troops and stunning them.

Stormboyz

The burning fuel of their rokkit packs ignites in an instant and the Stormboyz leap into the fray, slashing and shooting. These are a ranged jump-attack squad and are great for surprising the enemy since they can be upgraded to perform suicide runs.

Jump: The Ork Stormboyz leap into the air and land at the target area, doing damage as they hit then proceeding to attack enemies.

Stormboyz Upgrades (Wargear)

Improved Rokkit Packs: With more foom and oomph to them, these Rokkit Packs improve the jump distance of the Stormboyz. They also do a bit of tinkering and overload the primary fuel couple-a-wotzit-thingy. This unlocks the Bommaboyz ability that sends a Stormboy to an explosive death on the area so targeted.

Nob Leader: An ace of the skies joins the Stormboyz, this Ork has been flyin' longer than any of those grots and he knows how to swing a choppa and shoot a shoota! He provides a bonus to the squads melee and ranged damage.

Lootas

These Ork boyz are good at making sure their enemies don't get away so easily. They are armed with a Dakka Deffgun which has a limited fire-arc and can suppress enemies. They can upgrade this to a Beamy Deffgun that's good vs. vehicles and larger targets.

Beamy Deffun: This huge weapon is an upgrade to the Dakka Deffgun and does more damage against large targets and vehicles.

Tankbustas

These Orks know how to use a Rokkit Launcha and they're not afraid of firing at their own feat either. They are highly effective against vehicles and as their name suggests, they are very effective against tanks.

Rokkit Barrage: Fires a hail of rokkits at the targeted location. These explode causing lots of damage to the target area and scattering enemy troops.

Deff Dread

The humie Space Marines and the pointy Eldar have their walkers, the 'nids got their shamblies, the Orks have the Deff Dread - a massive war machine that's cobbled together from bits of junk and by all rights, just like most Ork technology shouldn't work. Equipped with guns and rotating chainsaws the Deff Dread can be ugraded to burn things too.

Deff Dread Abilities

Rampage: The Orks put more power to the engines and the Deff Dread rampages across the battlefield as its speed is dramatically increased.

Deff Dread Upgrades (Wargear)

Burnaz'n'Bitz: The Orks cobble on a few more parts, hammer a few plates over vulnerable areas. This gives the Deff Dread a pair of Burnas and increases the machine's health.

Wartrukk

A fairly fast but fragile vehicle, the Wartrukk can reinforce nearby squads and provide support with its weapons. It is excellent against infantry but weak against vehicles.

Reinforced Plating: This increases the health of the vehicle and makes it harder to destroy.

Nob Squad

These are the biggest, hardest and toughest of the Orks next to the Warboss of the WAAAGH. These are an elite melee squad and can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness in close quarters combat. They do high damage against infantry.

Nob Squad Upgrades (Wargear)

Meaner 'n' Greener: The Orks are whipped into frenzy and this increases their health and close quarters combat skill. It also unlocks the Frenzy ability that allows them to break suppression effects as they take more damage and dish out more damage in return.

'Uge Hammers: This Wargear gives the Nob Squad massive hammers, this increases their damage vs. all types.

Kommando Squad

Orks learned a while ago that being sneaky is just as good as getting their DAKKA and CHOPPAs into the enemy. So, they trained special operations Orks, named Kommandos for the job. These are capable ranged combatants and they can sneak around the battlefield, good for capturing and defence.

Infiltrate: Become hidden and sneak around the map.

Burna Bomb: Throw a grenade that does fire damage in an area over time.

Smoke Bomb: Throw concealing smoke and give a cover bonus to units.

Luv Da Dakka: Maximum firepower: requires squad to be infiltrated.

Kommando Squad Upgrades (Wargear)

Nob Leader: A large sneaky Ork joins the squad and allows them to detect other infiltrated units.

Looted Tank

This is the biggest Ork vehicle in their WAAAGH. The Looted Tank, stolen from the humies is a large battlewagon that has been field-stripped, armoured, spiked and given a big gun. It is a massive engine of destruction and is good against a variety of enemies.

Boom Gun: Fire a massive shot at a target area, doing a great deal of damage and devastation.
