Sports Interactive have announced that the demo for Football Manager 2012 is now available on Steam.

The demo, which is about 1GB in size, includes the first half of the 2011/2012 season and will include the new features that were announced for the series.

Games saved in the demo will be compatible with the full game, so any progress made in the demo will not be lost when the full game is purchased, including the option to add and remove leagues that are not in the demo.

The demo also includes QuickStarts for leagues in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia. The demo is also available in multiple languages: English, American English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech and Polish.

More details on the demo can be found on the official demo page.

Football Manager 2012 will be available for the PC on the 21st of October.
