PlayStation 3 reaches 51.8 million sales worldwide
Sony reveals sales figures for its consoles

Speaking at the Tokyo Game Show today, Sony have revealed that the PlayStation 3 has hit 51.8 million sales worldwide.
Its PSP console has sold 41.4 million units worldwide.
Compare those figures to the Xbox 360, which sold 55 million up to June 3rd, the DS, which sold 147.9 million units by the end of July and the Wii which had sold 87.57 million.
