3DS update incoming
Nintendo reveals next console update for the 3DS and new console colour

Nintendo will be releasing a new update for the 3DS this November. The update will include a new video capture feature allowing users to capture 3D video footage.
"People will be able to shoot and view moments from birthday parties and football games, or create their own original 3D productions and show them to others in 3D, all without the need for special glasses."
In addition to the video capture, owners will get new experiences when they have conquered all the StreetPass challenges in StreetPass Mii Plaza.
A new colour will also be available in Europe to celebrate the sale of more than one million 3DS's. The new colour will be Metallic Red.
