Rockstar and Sony issue statement about L.A. Noire crashes
Game updated firmware not to blame!

Rockstar and Sony have issued a joint statement regarding the recent L.A. Noire crashes on the PlayStation 3 console.
"We have received a very small number of customer support questions about PS3s overheating or shutting down while playing L.A. Noire. At this time, Rockstar Games and Sony can confirm that neither L.A. Noire or firmware update 3.61 are causing the PS3 hardware to overheat." said the statement on the Sony Blog and Rockstar's website.
The statement continues, stating that both companies are working on a solution and anyone who is having problems with L.A. Noire or the PS3 console should contact either Rockstar Support or PlayStation Support.
