Microsoft have sold almost all of the 8 million Kinects they have shipped to retail and have over 30 million users on its Xbox Live service.
The news came from Chief Exec Steve Ballmer yesterday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas where he announced the impressive figure, which far out paces the 5 million units they expected to sell before its release.
"This has been the biggest holiday and the biggest year ever for Xbox," he said. "A new member joins Xbox Live every two seconds."
