Capcom have revealed via its blog that Yakuza 4 will be heading westward in 2011.
The game sees the return of Kiryu Kazuma however he is not alone, with three other playable characters making an appearance, each with their own engaging backstory and a gripping interwoven plot.
Yakuza 4 promises an enhanced battle mechanics and a new fighter training system with an authentic replication of Tokyo allowing the player to explore the depths of the underground, the backstreets of the city and take in the views from the rooftops of buildings.
The story starts one year after the events of Yakuza 3 when a man is shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan, the organisation that has featured in all games in the series to date. A small gang which belongs to the Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death. These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honour.
