EA holds on to Christmas No.1

Need for Speed: Most Wanted holds on to the top spot this week to secure EA's third christmas No.1 in a row. Last year Need for Speed Underground 2 gave EA the top spot and and Medal of Honour: Rising Sun before that. Only Take 2's GTA Vice City ruined the chance for EA to take the last 5 when it took top spot in 2002.

Ubisofts King Kong takes 2nd place after a 64% increase on sales, quite possibly due to the films recent release and good reviews. Activision takes 3rd place with Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, which has been "heavily retailer promoted".

EA grab the last 2 of the top 5 with FIFA 06 claiming No.4 and Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire No.5
