Xbox & PS2 Price cuts in Europe

Sony Announced it yesterday and Microsoft have followed up with an annoucement today... The good news to all is that the PS2 and Xbox prices have been cut, not to the GameCube standard but the prices are definately heading in the right direction...
The PlayStation 2 should now be selling at £104.99 (about €155.23 by our calculations). According to Sony, the price change is "with immediate effect", so next time you are down your local store dont pay any more!
Microsoft have given time for the change, which takes effect on the 27th August. The new price for the Xbox will be £99.99 (€149.99 to you euro people) so you have no excuse not to own one!
