HomeLAN chats with Game music composer Jesper Kyd as he talks about his work:

HomeLAN - What is your basic approach when you work with a developer on music for their game?

Jesper Kyd - My approach changes often, since no project is ever the same. Sometimes you have a game demo that gives a good representation of the gameplay and atmosphere. Other times the game beta is so early, that it's better not to pay to much attention to the game, since the atmosphere is not represented correctly yet. Basically, the important thing is to become really inspired and then start writing the music.
