What games or modifications would you suggest teams start playing now to gain the skills necessary to do well?
Playing some of the King of the Hill and Capture the Flag variants are probably the best use of time. I'd recommend teams spend a lot of time playing with and thinking about how to use vehicles as part of their core strategy. We've discovered that team coordination with combined arms is vital. The agility and firepower that can be leveraged with Halo's vehicles adds a whole new flavor to the competitive game.
