Galileo Galilei

Galileo defied the Inquisition by speaking openly with nobles and commoners alike about the practical and beneficial uses of magic. He believed that such energies could further the pursuit of science and unlock the secrets that still confound humanity.

To silence Galileo, the Inquisition branded him a heretic, arrested him, and closed his observatory in Barcelona. Now the famed astronomer is languishing in the prison of the Inquisition, waiting for a chance to argue his beliefs before the Grand Inquisitor.
