Alternate title screen
- Save the game while in Ninja Dog difficulty. Load that saved game file, then hold Start + Back to perform an in-game reset to see an Ayane-themed title screen.
Arcade Ninja Gaiden
- Successfully complete the game.
or
Turn in 50 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop under the Ninja Dog difficulty setting.
Alternate costumes
- Comic - Complete game under Ninja Dog or Normal difficulty settings.
Red Muffler - Complete the game under the Hard difficulty setting.
Ryuken - Complete the game under the Very Hard difficulty setting.
Dead Or Alive - Complete the "Special" mission.
NES Ninja Gaiden
- Turn in all 50 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop to get the original NES Ninja Gaiden cartridge. It can be played at the arcade machine in Han's bar.
