First of all the graphics are great and the variety of tracks and conditions are excellent. The controls are accurate and responsive. My comments are mainly with the degree of difficulty.
I am an older adult and been playing games since pinball machines and Pacman. I find this game to be extreemly difficult even at Novis level. My grandchildren cannot even finish the first race. All they end up doing is going backwards and crashing into the other cars. I managed to get 2nd place in the first race after about 30 trys at Novice level. Since then I am up to 38 events at Novice level with first in all of them but not till I had run each one of them at least 20 times to get to know the tracks. At Novice level this is way too difficult. I am here to enjoy a good race and have some fun. This is not fun having your brain wrenched and your patience twisted and dragged thru the mud! Who has the time to learn every last twist and loop and how the game was engineered? I'm not a computer technician or a racing engine mechanic. This game is only for a rare few people who not only understand computer engineering in order to trick the system to win but also understand the "shop lingo" to understand what all those terms are in the "options" box. If I win a new engine or brake system or suspension system with different settings, there is no explaination of how those settings are made. Basically, there is no extended manual of definitions and how the game works and how to set up your car.
Also, the other cars seem to be operating on a different level. If you wreck YOUR car and lose a lap you might as well forget it. If the other cars wreck and lose a lap they somehow magically come back in the next lap and run you over. In other races the opponent cars are somehow endowed with magical properties to take turns and twists that are impossible for your car make at those speeds no matter how good you are. If your car crashes into a tree or something it takes a long time just to get it in reverse. The opponent cars somehow manage to not only get in reverse but get back in the race in split seconds!!
Also, in the Circuit Challange Class B you are given 2 cars that are both too slow to ever win the race. I have tried over 100 times and have never even made it to 3rd place!!...and that is at Novice level!!..and I can't go on till I win that race. So, basically I have reached the highest level and I can go no further so that's the extent of the $19.95 I spent for the game and all that's left to do is go back and run the other races again to infinitum. I am thus cheated out of the other races that I paid for.
There is more to it than winning. There is the pure fun of driving in a new place with a new car and enjoying the scenery too. So what if I lose? It's not right to block the other races that I paid for. It has nothing to do with basic knowledge of how a particular car is controlled. My grandson in the 2nd grade was able to win several races that I had to win to unlock first because he could not get past the first race!!! In my opinion you have to develop an obsession over many long hours of brain wrenching compulsion to ever get past Novice level. That's not fun. That's what people get paid for at a job somewhere.
Also, whoever you are that made this game, what's with the bogus phone number and the bogus email? I have to join your club to even get this message thru? Now that you got my money who cares, right?
Also, with as much effort and time you put into designing this game and stuff like head movements of the driver that can't be seen anyway, why not show the driver being smashed up with the car and body parts flying thru the air? Afterall, you are sitting there laughing at all those people sending you their money for a game that's rigged so you can never win, you might as well make it more fun to watch your avitar get beat up. Also why not have a virtual bar or club along the way for the losers to get a drink and cry in their beer.
