Demon Sniper weapon in vs. mode
- Find and collect all Special Flags hidden throughout the single-player
game to unlock the Demon Sniper for use in vs. mode.
Hidden Xevious game
- To unlock this classic Namco arcade game, you need to collect all the
Silver Badges in Story mode, achieved by achieving a certain score in
each level.
New items and characters for vs. mode
- By playing a certain number of matches in vs. mode, you will unlock new content such as weapons, extra playable characters and new arenas in which to battle. (The number of matches you must play to unlock the content is shown in brackets.)

- When you complete the game for the first time, you will unlock Survival mode which challenges you to complete the Story mode without losing a life.
Playable Wolf O'Donnell
- To unlock bad guy Wolf O'Donnell as a playable character in vs. mode, collect all of the Ally Medals by making sure all team-mates survive the missions.
New vs. mode maps
- When you complete certain levels of the single-player Story mode, you will unlock a new stage in vs. mode.
