How to Defeat Oogie Boogie
Whatever you do, DO NOT USE STOCKED UP CARDS!!! You will eventually lose all your cards. Put a lot of level 8, 9, and 0 cards in your deck. Most of his attacks will be level 7. To defeat him, wait until he rolls some dice at you. Hit the dice and they will be destroyed unless you lose a card break. The gate will lower after a while. Always try to destroy some dice. If you don't, 1 of 3 things will come: 2 heartless, a flying razor, or blades that will fall. Anyway, when the gate lowers, get on the platform and start attacking him. After you beat him, you will get the enemy card, Oogie Boogie. Which will allow you to gain back more HP. Good Luck!

Play the game as Riku
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is really two games in one, or rather two storylines. Complete the first, Sora’s story, and you will be able to play through the game again as Riku – experiencing a new plot, new characters and new experiences.

Unlike Sora, Riku’s quest isn’t to regain lost memories; instead he must battle against his inner self and choose between the path of good or evil.
Deal cards faster
The potion called Elixir can help you deal both magic cards and attack cards instantly, which comes in very handy in longer battles. You can get Elixir from 100 Acre Wood, by helping get Roo out of the hole.
Two-player link-up mode
Once you’ve completed both the Sora and the Riku storylines, you will unlock the two-player link-up mode. Connect to a friend’s GBA using a Game Link cable and you can fight against each other using your own card decks and playing styles.
