Pirates of the Caribbean Interview

HomeLAN interviews Renat Nezametdinov of Akella about Pirates of the Caribbean, the upcoming pirate RPG which is based on an upcoming Disney movie of the same name:

"HomeLAN - What can you tell about the storyline for the game and how it relates to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean?

Renat Nezametdinov - I can't reveal film elements, so I can't really define where the common ground is at the moment, but I have to say that we're fortunate in that we're working with an established franchise and an exciting environment. For the most part we have been given Carte blanche to make the most out of the film's dramatic elements.

This really gives us the best of both worlds, since we're able to focus on making great game related decisions and include the best elements of the film to support it."
